My memory is it goes back to when we were recruiting him as a high school senior and someone either started a thread or responded within a thread on BearFans inquiring about the recruiting status of…."Shridhar"….(obviously meaning Stidham) and it caught on as a running inside joke from there.

It's just a meme based on someone's typo. One of those deals where somebody had their fingers in the wrong place on the keyboard and didn't look before they clicked post. It was never meant as a slight. It just became a silly "thing."

If his real name were Shridar he probably would have gotten a ton more pub and a higher draft pick. That's the way today's sport go.

The Broncos kept Stidham over Zach Wilson, who just signed with the Dolphins for one year 6 mil guaranteed.

I'm thinking the Broncos chose wisely.
