Does this guy really believe it was the Longhorns that had the easiest football schedule? Did he miss what A&M played this year?

Horns played OU, Georgia, and Vandy (granted, no one expected Vandy to be that good). A&M's best three opponents were LSU, Mizzou, and Florida. Georgia/OU is easily a better opponent combo than LSU/Mizzou even if the latter hadn't been worse than expected.

Not trying to help the agtard make his point, but that post was from back in the spring, referencing UT's '24 football schedule.

24/25 conference schedule for UT was identical. Aggies appears to be the same. Home flipped to away and away flipped to home.

Common opponents both years: Florida, Mississippi St, Arkansas and each other.

Uncommon
ATM: Auburn, LSU, Missouri, South Carolina
UT: OU, Georgia, Kentucky, Vanderbilt

I think UT clearly drew the harder schedule both years.

2026 schedule appears to be a draw eight months prior to it starting, maybe slightly harder for TAMU (Ole Miss v Alabama)

UT: Tennessee, OU, Florida, Ole Miss, Mississippi St, Missouri, LSU, Arkansas, Aggie
TAMU: Kentucky, LSU, Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, OU, UT

It would be a positive for the State of Texas to have one school in the SEC and one in the B1G.

There would be no other state that could make that claim and not many other states with a decent chance to get one school in each conference. Maybe Florida would have a shot to get a school in each conference with FL State.

The Agnostics have been whiners since I first came to BU in 1970.
And nothing has changed.
Not even their fight song.
"As a businessman, Jerry is an absolute genius, but it’s safe to say he’s been exposed as a football idiot. That doesn’t make him a bad person, but he insists upon using his expertise in an area where he has none. We’ve seen the results of that for about 30 years now."

If I'm the B10 I'd definitely hear any Aggies pleas. B10 would break into the Texas market in a big way.

That doesn't mean anything to them. They'd rather have UT. Personally, they don't think Aggies are elite enough for B1G.

They'd be better off going to Arkansas and Nebraska and try to do a package deal to the Big 12.

If A&M, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Missouri came back to the Big 12, it would be a massive upset of the status quo in college football. I wonder what it would take to make that happen.

It takes 4 schools to vote against a team for them not to be able to join the SEC. A&M threatened to vote no but the SEC wanted a unanimous vote and A&M eventually relented and voted yes. If there were 3 other no votes I think there is a good chance they would have voted no- Except for the last sentence, info above provided by Google AI if you ask Google how many no votes does it take to keep a team out of the SEC.
