If you haven't, read "Under the Banner of Heaven" by Jon Krakauer. Good book. Eye opening.

This seems inconsistent with what Tech partisans have been claiming to have been spending. Even ESPN reported earlier in the summer they spent like a close second in the nation behind Texas, maybe they were 3rd and Ohio St was second. But those 3 spent all about the same it was stated in a graphic. Now i admit the graphic was displayed during some talking head chatter and not as part of an actual news story and they may have been repeating what Tech partisans had been claiming for months. I don't know.

Big 12 needs someone to compete for CFP wins and even football NCs. If we can't do it, we are better off having a conference mate who can. Makes all of our games worth more.

It is hard say. According to this, the House settlement changed everything with SEC and B10 having the biggest revenue sharing now. And if you look at On3, they are nowhere close in terms of highest paid players (could not find team rankings)
