Bill Gates is giving away $200 Billion by 2030... how much can Paula, Linda and Co figure out how to get a billion or 2 from him?!

We had BG in the house. A few billion would go a long way to impressing Paula Hurd. I'm just saying.....

I read about Gates and looked up his foundation. He should have contacted me and asked for my opinion on how to spend his insane fortune :P

The goals of the foundation are noble (providing health care to kids on the international level) but the results are short-lived and short-sided. Who cares if you provide healthcare for a million kids in Africa if most of the planet's inhabitants will be at risk in 100-150 years? Not only that but he's contributing to population increase, something that only strains resources and causes more pollution.

If he wanted to have the largest positive impact on a global scale, he would put that money towards reducing the carbon and methane gases trapped and expelled into the atmosphere. Our planet is heating up and it's getting worse, not better. Storm damage will get more severe, there will be more droughts, more crop failures etc.

Your comment about who cares if you provide healthcare for millions of kids in Africa was chilling and shortsighted. The saved kids care, their parents, villages and tribes. And I care. One saved kid may be the next leader or scientist or school teacher. Man, I know you meant something else, sure hope you did, but that was the worst wordsmith job I have ever witnessed. Who cares? God says when we help the least we help Him.
