$5.1-M over 3 years is $1.7-M per year out of the $20.5-M annual revenue share.

Subtract their $1-M softball player and that leaves $17.8-M to be divided among all the other athletes.

I'm trying to imagine how all the other players will behave around Ojo if he doesn't pancake a defender on each and every block.

The pressure will be very intense on McGuire going forward. That is the downside of bragging about how much you are paying players. I don't really see any other XII school that hypes their pay quite like Tech. I personally think their approach isn't going to serve the actual staff and perhaps as well the athletic administration very well. I'm not even a Tech partisan at all and I'm thinking for all this money they keep announcing they are spending, it is a imperative for them to make the XII title game this up coming season.

The Kool-Aid is STRONG with this one! I am sacrificing nothing. Gave up my 4 season tickets after 22 seasons.You seem to have NO CLUE. I have zero expectations for Baylor Football. I will not be disappointed one

Decades of support for Baylor, or any other school, is done for the purpose of just wanting to, because you have that feeling inside. It would be nice if one felt some modicum of appreciation for all those years and all that money and time spent, especially when it gets PRed that way all the time. But it doesn't always happen.

Agree with you, Jim. I still get angry when I think about what could have been. Baylor and Penn State are the two best examples of how not to and how to handle a scandal.

But it should be a good lesson of what can happen when you have weak leadership in place. I do have great respect for everyone that has maintained their loyalty through this mess. I tip my hat to all of you.

Not sure Penn State handled it all that well when the President and AD served jail time...and the football coach dropped dead shortly after...

While our President quietly resigned...the AD found another job...and the football coach got a settlement that would stun a mastadon.

McGuire hasn't proven (an elite college HC) dick yet. But can't fault him for running for the cash while one can. Everyone else in his profession does....

Will always root for Baylor Football to defeat their Fall foe on the gridiron. I am just one man. My opinion on the state of Baylor Football is insignificant and irrelevant. Baylor made this very clear to me in 2015 and beyond.



But your opinion also was clearly relevant enough for you to tell us about your choice to stop supporting the team voluntarily. And to be butt hurt over something a decade ago that has zero impact on this program currently. Im sorry the bear touched you
