Welcome to the new world. This is the reason why my future Saturdays will be spent weedeating and raking
dog s h I t rather than watching College Football.
I now much prefer watching the divas that play on Sundays. They are at least a tad bit more mature.
the team greatly appreciates you turning your back on them and removing your support for them.
Will always root for Baylor Football to defeat their Fall foe on the gridiron. I am just one man. My opinion on the state of Baylor Football is insignificant and irrelevant. Baylor made this very clear to me in 2015 and beyond.
you gave up 4 tickets. Thats possibly 4 less baylor fans in the stands every game. 4 less loud bears helping create a home field advantage. But see ya down the road. You clearly were never a real fan. Fans dont turn their backs on their team for any reason, especially something so trivial as players legally get paid now
But your opinion also was clearly relevant enough for you to tell us about your choice to stop supporting the team voluntarily. And to be butt hurt over something a decade ago that has zero impact on this program currently. Im sorry the bear touched you
You are the perfect fan. No doubt. I admire your blind loyalty. As I told you, Baylor did not value me as a 22 season ticket holder either. It is done. In the past. It really does not matter at this point.
Evil flourishes when good men do nothing. My position is clear. And you? We shall see.
RD2,
I'm sure you are a good man. I also respect your decision regarding Baylor Football - but for the Love of God, why do you continue to post? Is it some form of self flagellation?
Agree with you, Jim. I still get angry when I think about what could have been. Baylor and Penn State are the two best examples of how not to and how to handle a scandal.
But it should be a good lesson of what can happen when you have weak leadership in place. I do have great respect for everyone that has maintained their loyalty through this mess. I tip my hat to all of you.
You still didn't answer the question of why you're still actively posting in a Baylor football program when you've declared your public removal of their support.

Baylor and I are estranged but would be happy if Baylor Football ran the table and won the national championship. I think the leadership of Baylor is content for Baylor win seven or eight games a year and go to a crappy bowl game every other year. That is fine too. If they are on TV, I will probably tune in and watch.
P.s. - My financial support was removed because Baylor leadership claimed our ex head coach supposedly displayed heinous and unspeakable conduct, yet found it in their hearts to pay him and his attorneys $17.5 million to go away. Something was just not right. That was it for me.

It just sounds to me like someone who has such little interest in something and is still very clearly holding onto bitterness from almost a decade and three coaching staffs ago would have much better things to do with their time than sour a pot that others are actually still very invested and interested in, but that's just me. I would certainly not consistently come here if I was not interested in supporting the team, but you do you.
Rick Neuheisel just said that he has it on good authority that Sorsby has been offered $4 million by three different schools.

Coach Satt was a guest. Neuheisel asked several questions about Sorsby, and after the interview concluded, Neuheisel made to comment to his co-host Chris Childers.

$5.1-M over 3 years is $1.7-M per year out of the $20.5-M annual revenue share.
Subtract their $1-M softball player and that leaves $17.8-M to be divided among all the other athletes.
I'm trying to imagine how all the other players will behave around Ojo if he doesn't pancake a defender on each and every block.

For the sake of colleges football, we need Texas Tech's experiment of attempting to buy success to be an abject failure. Conversely, we also need a low-budget team to be highly successful. Here's for hoping for both!

Which Baylor boosters are billionaires and can buy a comparable roster to the one Texas Tech booster Cody Campbell bought?

I would imagine we have 4-5 perhaps more who together can do what Campbell has done. If they are thrilled with the AD hire like a couple of his friends are posting. We will know that because money should be flowing in starting today and Aranda will have an NIL budget starting in the new year getting on par with what McGuire has. We will know if this is a great hire or a catastrophic move by summer I think.
