Will it though? How many college recruits are sending their own highlight videos to schools?

They get them from the coaches still. Or at a minimum from sites like rivals and I guess that is where the fake stuff could end up.

But I doubt we will get many of those fake signing day things like that kid around 2010 in Oregon or California that said he was going to Cal but no one there ever heard of him. At most we will get kids who get recruited all for someone to call their coach, go watch them, get more tape, etc. and realize they are not good and those were doctored videos and a waste of recruiting time.
