I suspect this might be package dependent to some extent, but all the DL-men speaking with the media yesterday said he is running with the 1s. Hopefully that means he has taken a huge step in the offseason.
I looked back at his bio and didn't remember that his dad ND had an 11-year NFL career, including 31 sacks and nearly 200 tackles, though he was mostly a backup. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/N._D._Kalu
That's some incredible genetics and football pedigree, and suggests DK might have some huge upside. Dad also jumped 7-feet in high school.
Given Samu is coming off a significant back surgery and Friloux is moving up a level in competition, seems like potentially very good news for team if DK is emerging.
Perhaps DK ends up being a breakout star in 20. Also just a sophomore, so could be a key piece for next three years.
