A lot of hype was built around the talent of our current roster and Aranda's ability to coach based on the win streak that we went on last year against a few mediocre/bad teams. The schedule got tougher this year, and aranda reverted to the mean, in this case literally about six wins

A few weeks ago all the prognostications had Baylor slotted into the Pop-tarts, Independence, or Rate bowls; after 2 losses......bupkis.

Wow - I guess the prognosticators don't see us finding 2 wins down the stretch- I've got to admit, I don't either. Also, nice to see a college program slotted for the Super Bowl.

In all fairness, BYU has a bunch of NFL-aged dudes on the roster.

Pop Tarts Bowl would be far better than any of these. It's much more appetizing.

that's been the floor. That's why Dave almost got canned in '23. He'll for sure be fired if we only win one more game this season.

Still getting picked in the bowl projections by ESPN, CBS, Athlon, SI, and CollegeFootballNews. Anywhere from the Rate Bowl to the Armed Forces Bowl to the Independence Bowl to the Frisco Bowl.

Same. They can barely get teams to commit now. The next piece will be the players that start opting out of their bowl game.

Not remotely close to what it used to be.
