It's been obvious for years. Still can't believe we're in this predicament since it was clear he wasn't developing as a head coach ... nor could he develop players or develop a team culture of winning. So obviously in the wrong position.

And we all blame the money as the reason, just don't know how true that is given how much football brings in. Seems more like the CDA bandwagon looking for excuses.

are we losing recruits to Rice or did we all but rescind an offer bc he didn't do much this year? he was also offered by UH. if you get offers from two p4 schools and choose to go to a bad AAC school… the p4 offers went away.

I used to not put much stock in the "Yeah, but he won with [insert previous coach name here] players" argument. But when I watch the NFL ... my GOD, Matt Rhule could recruit and develop players!

That sure seems like a recipe for zero or 1 conference wins in future seasons.

Hope they can put a band aide on that via the portal but plugging holes in the OL using players with no experience in a system is not the most effective way to build an OL.
