No freaking way!! Stadium was empty and sad.

So I wonder what the 14,700 who weren't there did with their time today.

Yeah, that's a bit on the sneaky side.

I think that is pretty much what most, if not all schools, do.

Exactly. Who does actual "turnstile counts" any more?

Everyone does that- not sneaky at all.

Y'all do know every announced attendance in every sport since the beginning of time is tickets sold?!

Bears were fighting for a sixth win to become bowl eligible: Houston was fighting for their 9th win and nice bowl assignment. There was plenty for both teams to fight for even if the fans didn't give a hoot

34,000 is an embarassing announced attendance. And it's only going to get worse next season.
Be prepared for the tarp jokes to make a major comeback. But that's what this athletic department deserves at this point.

I suspect that the stadium will never be consistently filled again...if it ever was, regardless of how the team might improve. I saw plenty of empty seats on TV in the Houston - TCU game and even in our game at Arizona. Outside of either the blue bloods or schools that have WAY MORE alumni base populations than they have stadium capacity, based on TV appearances, empty seats are growing everywhere. Too high admission and concession prices with younger people having less money to spend and the old ones no longer able to go. Also too easy to just find it on a phone or TV.
I suspect the tarp jokes if there are any will primarily come from this board. Baylor fans do great jobs at ridiculing their own program.
