So I wonder what the 14,700 who weren't there did with their time today.

Watched it on TV and listened to the game on the radio while driving to get a hair cut. At least that is what I did instead.

I wish BU would stop the deceit.

Went to Hobby Lobby with the wife to watch Chinese Christmas decorations and pictures of yaks or some sort of hairy cows. Will probably look for a YouTube lowlights video today to dissect the expected result of the game.

Visitor/student side was less than half full. Considerably less. Alumni side was probably a little more than half full? Or maybe around half? I'd say there were around 20K people there, and that might be generous.

This is even more depressing that only that many were sold or given away.

Yeah, that's a bit on the sneaky side.

I think that is pretty much what most, if not all schools, do.

Exactly. Who does actual "turnstile counts" any more?

BU must delete the electronic count of tix then. Should be able to give exact #'s.

Technically we were fighting to make a bowl but we didnt really start fighting until the 2nd half. Story of our season.. I guess on the bright side I took Houston and the points and made money.

I went and had all of my chest hairs pulled out one at a time with tweezers. It was less painful than watching the game.

If you look at what they were charging for the tickets to buy, that's a loss to the university of over $1 million

Bears were fighting for a sixth win to become bowl eligible: Houston was fighting for their 9th win and nice bowl assignment. There was plenty for both teams to fight for even if the fans didn't give a hoot

Doesn't make it right. The concession people know exactly how many attended
Thank you Miami Hurricanes. 10-3. :)

34,000 is an embarassing announced attendance. And it's only going to get worse next season.

Be prepared for the tarp jokes to make a major comeback. But that's what this athletic department deserves at this point.

With all due respect, our fans could tell what was coming on the field and didn't think it merited missing Thanksgiving celebrations. They were correct. Again.

I suspect that the stadium will never be consistently filled again...if it ever was, regardless of how the team might improve. I saw plenty of empty seats on TV in the Houston - TCU game and even in our game at Arizona. Outside of either the blue bloods or schools that have WAY MORE alumni base populations than they have stadium capacity, based on TV appearances, empty seats are growing everywhere. Too high admission and concession prices with younger people having less money to spend and the old ones no longer able to go. Also too easy to just find it on a phone or TV.

I suspect the tarp jokes if there are any will primarily come from this board. Baylor fans do great jobs at ridiculing their own program.

I disagree. If we had won the auburn game and were having a tech like season we would be full. I woulda flown out for a home game and for the b12 champ game. It we can get back to the like the Briles years where it was fun and we win then fans will come. Also, if we could get the tailgating like it was when the stadium opened that would be a big help.

Remember all the people who wanted McLane to be built larger?

That decision to build for 45k looks good

BIG THANK YOU: K-State football finishes the 2025 season ranked No. 9 in the country and tops in the Big 12 Conference with a 103.55% capacity at home games. K-State averaged an attendance of 51,773 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Thank you, fans!

Is K-State that much better than Baylor?
Or is it Aranda's coaching?
