Moreover, we should be pulling guys from Michigan (in chaos atm), Alabama, Georgia, etc now
Am I doing this right?

Our transfer class should be rather large because of the guys we are losing. We should have a top 15 transfer class? What say you?

What newfound wealth?
We're just sharing revenue like everyone else is.

Do you have any sense of what our NIL budget and sources look like?
I'd assume the boosters aren't particularly excited, but I suppose I could be wrong.

Well first things first, we need a QB.
Our bench has little to no experience so we need a veteran in the room

I was told the boosters loved Doug, and would throw money around for him. That is why he was hired.

Well I am glad the donors are on board now, and we can go get a big time name in the portal

Since joining recently (12/9/2025), I have to assume your posts are tongue-in-cheek.

You think everyone else is just doing that?

All rev sharing does is pay the same kid 4X as much as he was getting in NIL alone for the same results. Because most everyone is going to be doing it there isn't an advantage. Many programs across the country will be overpaying to get and retain the same average recruits/players they were getting pre-rev share.
But we are able to pay 4X more than before…well so is everyone else…

No, but that's the cost to play. NIL is on top of whatever your rev share budget is set at.

So it sets the floor but puts no ceiling? Do I have that right?

I wanna be pulling guys from Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, etc with this new money. Not diamonds in the rough from New Mexico State of the blind.
Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian said, "I'm probably going to be on the phone with an agent today that's going to throw a number at me that I'm going to be like, good luck. I hope you get it if you don't call us back."

Arkansas is set to announce a deal with The LinkU centered on helping the school drive above the cap NIL dollars, sources tell @SBJ.

Can't believe what a massive kick in the balls this must be for coaching staffs to deal with.
I've read where a lot of these players have picked up "agents" that have no clue what they are doing.Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian said, "I'm probably going to be on the phone with an agent today that's going to throw a number at me that I'm going to be like, good luck. Donations must be down
First time OL coach hire
First time AD hire
Too many Ol and DL jumping in the portal which are both areas where Baylor's numbers have been poor
