When was the year of the Bear? 2012? It has been 100% completely dismantled. From the top of the mountain to a total laughing stock. Well, at least in a couple of months we will be told Baylor could end up being 8-4 in football "if things break right."

College athletics has been ruined. I mean, yes, coaching matters - Drew is really overrated, Dave stinks, and Collins or Collens or whatever her name is is just an average coach, but the current buying players (many of whom frankly suck for lack of a better word) and having to redo the entire roster every year is just not that entertaining for the fans.

Kim wins, but Kim is/was a problem. Her ego had her respond to Drew's Natty by demanding her ego be fed in ways that were not good for Baylor.
Mack is/was not the right guy to have in charge when the financial model of college athletics blew itself to smithereens and being a smaller private school in D-1 became insanely difficult.
Two things can be true at the same time, especially two things that aren't mutually exclusive, as are these two things.

2021 was even better. Most athletic programs will never sniff anything close to that success in their history. Only Ohio St, Florida, and Alabama have had combined seasons close to that.
Not to mention wbb with a few breaks should/could have won it too.
To go from that to present is one of the the biggest momentum fumbles in modern college athletics.

I've heard the "magical" term applied to TT's and Indiana's most recent seasons. Let's hide in the bushes and watch.
While we're at it, let's make BU seasons like that one "regular" instead of "magical" (whatever that means).
