On one hand I get the doctor's point. Those drinks are bad for kids/teens. Go to any middle/high school and you can see kids walking around with one in each side of their backpack in the water bottle slots. Same at colleges.

They drink 2 (or more a day). It is hurting their growth and there have been numerous documented cases of kids drinking two right before a game/practice and collapsing.

But on the other hand….. the majority of the kids walking around drinking those are not watching college football.

Sometimes I'm trying to watch 2 or 3 games at once...so I hate that ticker for spoilers. I'd love to see all sports broadcasts get rid of it.

Agreed. I hate how it scrolls through scores for every sport, gives news for every sport, goes through the top 25, then by conference, etc. and is repetitive as well as flashing an upset alert there, or a final alert there plus a few years ago they started doing the bigger alert that pops up as well somewhere above the ticker. We don't need two notifications of an upset alert.

Also...sometimes when the yellow upset alert pops up it looks like a flag was thrown on the play.

IF you are really dying for some college football there are several FCS (Division 1A if you are old enough to remember that) on TV tonight. I think all on ESPN+.

I may turn one on just to have something on while working around the house this evening.

It looks like B10, SEC and now B12 have banned players that played pro or went to a camp, can't come back to college and play. Conference rules. Have I got that right?

Yes.

The issue was really only for this year with the court ruling on 5 years for players from the 2022 freshmen class.

So this should not be an issue moving forward.
