SMU is one school that's been snake bit against us, at least post death penalty, as we've won 14 straight and counting. Granted, excluding last season, virtually all of the rest of the wins have come against pony teams that we should've beaten, but you'd think they would've at least gotten lucky a couple of times over that stretch especially given that several of those BU teams weren't exactly world beaters. As far as last year's game went, our O definitely made some clutch plays, but our "12th man" that day was the SMU kicker.
