The Frogs managed to hold them to a FG but they marched down the field pretty easily.

On 3rd down, the Frogs sacked UNC QB for loss of 9 yards. Then they had a 33 yard return on the kick to put them at the 25. A few plays later and they are first and goal at the 2.

Again, UNC marches down the field easily. At 4th and 7, they had an 18 yard pass setting g them up first and goal. They scored a TD on the next play.

I'm starting to wonder if TCU is not a very good team this year. UNC doesn't exactly look like world beaters.
After TCU goofed resulting in a safety, UNC started moving the ball again. Then TCU forced a fumble and have the ball at the 45. It's being reviewed. Ruling upheld

Dumb special teams play, he wasn't even running full speed could have avoided that running into the kicker.
Despite some really good plays, the Frogs font look very good. It is the first game of the year in Week zero and across the pond.

I just hope TCU's team is not representative of the entire Big 12. They are not good in any area. I thought they'd be able to open things up by now, but I was wrong.

I can't believe how bad they look. They look mediocre to begin with but then are making really dumb mistakes on top of that. Just hit the quarterback who had been down for several seconds ridiculous. I think this quarterback is several notches below Hoover.

I hope TCU plays this terribly on October 17 (and Baylor doesn't) but I want them to win today. I want all Big 12 teams to win non-conference games. The conference needs all the PR it can get.
UNC looks way better than last year already. Last year's team was unfieldable, so that's not saying much.
But still, I wouldn't take a Week 0, rainy, overseas game as indicative of TCU's season. They will still stomp us

If anything, North Carolina is controlling the line of scrimmage as the game goes on. TCU looks to have almost no passing game. The rain may be a factor though.

The rain is probably a factor for the Frogs. It's not a problem for UNC, though, mainly because they are running the ball effectively.
TCU defense forced 2 takeaways and had 3 sacks and yet they still are down by 5 and UNC in the red zone again.
I like that they're running TV ads during the game to drum up support for legislation to save college sports. But the focus just on saving women's and Olympic sports is going to limit the impact.

I don't really do expectations any more, don't pay much attention to pre-season rankings or prognostications, but who was favored in this game? Was NC being predicted to be a lot better this season? Just curious.
