Really? They're only 7 games ahead after well over 110 games played; they've got the advantage right now. But you obviously don't know this rivalry goes in cycles. Baylor was largely in control before the current Tcu run by winning 9 of 14, and going back further Baylor once won 15 of 20, and further back 9 of 10 in another streak, and started the whole thing going 8-0-3. Baylor's about to get another good streak going, over 100 years of history say so.

Gonna be a long year in Ft. Worth. It's hard to correct discipline during the season.

Also hard to correct issues on D line. Probably the worst TCU team I've seen in a few years.

"Beat" is in present tense. My bad...sorry for the confusion. My comment stands.

I agree with your point. TCU is 13 - 5 over the last 20 years. They are the dominant winner, case closed. When discussing rivalry games, citing wins and losses from 50+ years ago is fine, but that era is completely lost from the modern football zeitgeist. Saying that they only have the advantage 'right now' reminds me of what Aggies say when they play UT. "We didn't lose, we just ran out of time on the scoreboard"

I may be in the minority but I wanted TCU to win because it just seems to me that now more than ever we need the Big 12 to be seen as the 3rd best football conference.

Yep...ypure in the minority.

Theres 15 other schools to carry the conference flag.

Going back 110 years is as ridiculous as comparing leather helmets to Art's Offense. The wins over TCU of late were when TCU sucked worse than us until the Fat Man arrived. In recent history it is all TCU.

I would never want TCU to beat Baylor, or for Baylor to lose to anyone, for any reason.

Not even when college football starts their own player draft, which may be coming at some point.

Absolutely agree with you. With the expanded playoff field, conference power is critical to getting as many teams in as possible. We need to be pulling for conference members in any ACC matchup.

Going back 110 years is as ridiculous as....

Just pointing out to the uneducated that Tcu hasn't owned Baylor for the entirety of the rivalry, like his post suggested. It comes & goes. Right now its in the toads favor, I acknowledged that in my post; but history says its about to swing the Bears way. Simple reading comprehension.
