I don't think we'll be "loose", but I think we'll lose by something like 41-20. It might be relatively close by as late as halftime, but not close at the end as Auburn wears us down on both sides of the ball and hits some home run type passes for scores as our secondary is forced to go one on one with their superior wideouts. Hope I'm wrong.

Baylor 32 Auburn 28. DJ heats up with numerous <15 yard passing gains and gets a couple of first downs with his legs. The D line slows the run. Baylor's D backs keeps passing yards reasonable. Baylor's O line is not great though serviceable, and Pendergrass pounds the ball and successfully spelled as needed by the backups. Baylor's O & D coordinators call good games and get the job done. Fun Labor Day weekend back in Waco.

Auburn 38 - aranda 17. Baylor has the 'traditional" lackluster, sloooowww start followed by trying to catch up the balance of the 60 minutes.

The Aranda hatred on here is valid but tired at this point. Inverse glazing to be honest. While I understand the state of the program is lackluster, there is a new season ahead of us and we have the pieces to be a sneaky Big 12 contender. Go cheer for TCU if you want to hate all the time.

The Bears are playing USF's offense in Auburn jerseys with an improved defense, at least an improved d-line. Baylor's offense was able to work around Auburn's defense last year, Sawyer (much more 1-dimensional than Lagway) had 400 yds through the air. I like the offense's chances of changing it up, tons of QB option plays with a couple shots.

Give me 24-17 Bears.

I'm so sick of this modern idea that criticizing highly paid coaches and athletes = "hate". By your own definition, you seem to hate people that criticize the program. We have one poster that makes a lot of references to Dave's bald head which is obviously a joke, but no one is talking about beating the guy up or making fun of his mama.

Honestly, just like I tell anyone that complains about criticism of the program on the free board, you're more than welcome to pony up $13 a month or whatever it is they charge these days to pay for a premium membership and be told about how much "potential" we have, and how everything is a new year and this may just be the year where the lightbulb clicks for Dave

Also, downplaying Auburn's roster as just being USF roster with different jerseys is really, really weird shade
In the era of the transfer portal. Especially when you consider the fact that USF probably would've beat us badly last year, and half of our roster are former G5 players themselves

Not saying Dave wasn't or isn't deserving of hate. Saying that the non-stop hatred is weird at this point. I'm not defending Dave's "potential" either. I was talking purely about the players on the field. We have a new season ahead of us, I hope you will be a fan while we're playing the game!

Per the USF offense, I completely disagree that they would've handled us last year. But we'll see on Saturday!
