Could be an interesting one. DJ should sit this one out (imo). PV comes to Waco with a 1-1 record; they opened the year with a loss at Tarleton 49-30, then won their home opener 52-14 over Texas Southern. Time to call your shot, your guess is as good as mine. GO!

We should be able to beat them with our backups. I'll predict 42-17 simply because I think things will be kept extremely vanilla as it probably should be

If this game is even remotely interesting, we have major problems.

We'll win by a lot. But who cares? The Colorado game is the next real benchmark for this team. That's a must-win game to reach any of our goals.

I think the 42 is fair, but I'll be disappointed if we give up 17 points. Based on what we saw in Week 1, our defensive front should overwhelm them. We need to hold them to one touchdown or less and 10 points maximum. Anything more than that would be discouraging/concerning IMO.

I'm still not convinced our defense as as good as all that, but assuming that they are, this just feels like one of those games where the outmatched opponent pull a couple scores out of their butt. Like I said, I could see a lot of backups getting rotated in and the scheme being kept very vanilla

Hopefully we can more than afford to sit Lagway, overcome at least a couple of dumb decisions by CDA, liberally play the reserves in the 4th quarter or sooner, and still win by something like 45-10.

We open up a little sluggish on offense because the loss to Auburn by inches took the wind out of our sails. Defense is ready to try and shut out a lesser opponent because the new D coordinator is coaching for a promotion.

I'll revise my score and say that halftime will be 24-3. We take any and all starters out at half or thereabouts, final score is 34-10. I still think the game plan on offense will be fairly run heavy
