What did Cody do?


3 receivers. Bunch formation. Crossing routes. Reg's called PI. Looked (to me) all receivers ran legitimate routes.

The opponent is a big factor, but I think there probably is something to the fact that when playing a significantly inferior opponent, he feels more comfortable to just play normal football, whereas in close games he tends to get deer in headlights and overthinks things with the analytics and all

Didn't watch the game, but I just looked at Ed Griffin's stat line. What was the deal there? I really liked his high school film and thought he would be better.

Candid thought. I'm a Baylor fan through and through. I have equal disdain for TX and OHSt, completely. I recorded that game in order to watch Baylor. I just couldn't do it for long. Two highly competitive teams in front of 100+K fans won over today's BU game.

At least one dropped pass. He overthrew one. And he threw the absolute most JV-style pick. His pocket was also collapsing a bit. Maybe the OL had 2s/3s in.

What did Cody do?


I was tracking Oregon State had a chance to win with 3 minutes but had to go for it on 4th in the red zone and didn't get it. Tech was up by 4. Tech ended up doing nothing and punting Oregon st had it deep in their territory and again failed to covert with a minute left. Tech gets the ball back near the end zone and rather than run the clock took a timeout or two to score a TD with like less than a minute left. So the score board looks much further apart than that game was. Tech really pulled of in effect a 4 pt win. But did some trash padding in the final minute. This is my recollection from tracking. I did not watch. Maybe it's Cody who is making McGuire look classless or maybe McGuire is classless in concert with Cody. But a classless ending. I really thought Oregon St was going to pull off the Ok St like upset in that one until the end.

He has a weird arm slot and doesn't have a very strong arm. He made a couple of decent throws and threw one horrific pick.
