He always throws a zippy, tight spiral. His main liability in my mind was that he is pretty dang small, but in this game he should have a good amount of time to operate. I expect him to move the ball around and have a great game. Would love to see it --- you don't see many QBs sticking around on the same roster for three years very much these days.

I think he will light them up. Coach Spavital will set up the play calls to take advantage of his strengths. Our Running backs will have a good game catching passes out of the backfield. We should have a big game.

I expect all of our running backs to get a lot of touches and for him to basically just be a game manager. Get the receivers the ball, let them make a play in space

Just execute the offense, minimize mistakes, get a lot of work to the OL and RB depth that needs to be prepared.

I'm just looking forward to seeing him play, to be honest. This will be great experience for him and it will allow DJ to get rest his injured ankle.

This gives me a reason to be excited about the game tomorrow because these FCS games have really become a beating in recent years.

Long bombs on every 1st down and going for it on every 4th down...or so the metrics say.

If he just makes minimal at most mistakes and doesn't turn it over we should be fine. If we struggle at all on offense against the likes of PVAM with him as QB it will tell us that we will be even worse off than we think if Lagway can't go for any significant amount of time the rest of the season - including next week's game against La Tech.

This season is quickly going to turn into a disaster if Lagway gets seriously hurt. Lagway, while a bit turnover prone still has a great arm and was a five star recruit for that reason. Bennett and Ed Griffin had no other P5 offers for a reason. Not trying to be overly negative, it's just the reality of where we are at. That said, our entire team should easily outmatch Prairieview, so not worried at all about this week

Bennet has been around long enough to know the system well. It will be fun seeing what kinds of tools he brings, and maybe some Moxie and leadership, getting the most out of his opportunity.
