If we're ranking coaches we missed out by retaining Aranda, Willie Fritz would top my list over Morris. But both would have been good hires.

We could have had Willie Fritz, but we stuck with Dave.

Can someone explain why the board mods are permitting this racist "DEI" moniker to continue?

DA was a hot commodity and at the top of all coaching lists when he was hired. If the insinuation is that he has been retained for DEI reasons, by all means, provide evidence of such assertion that refutes the much more obvious explanation that we couldn't afford the buyout to fire him.

I oppose DEI policies on the grounds that they are mostly discriminatory. But there is more than enough fair game to attack about DA's coaching record at Baylor without resorting to making this about his race.

He was a disastrous athletic director for Baylor ... on a number of levels.

All of our most important programs descended into mediocrity (or worse, in the case of baseball) under his watch.

President Linda Loser is taking Baylor down to the level of DEI, catering to Muslims and the alphabet people, California style. Where are the BaylorRegents calling out to God about it? The majority of our Regents are worthless, weak, and unqualified, just like a decade ago.

Why would DA have been at the top of anyone's wish list? No head coaching experience, no Texas ties, his defenses at LSU were average at best and they won the NC entirely on Joe Burrow's arm.

Calling him a DEI hire is bullcrap, in my view, but calling him a crony hire is probably more accurate, and worse.

DEI - Didn't earn it. Dave has yet to win with his new players and current administration is too afraid to let a half white and half brown guy go.

Most of us want him gone simply because he's a bad coach, not because he's Mexican or whatever. I don't care about his race. Red, yellow, black, white, I just want somebody who is an actual winner leading our team

Were you not alive in 2016? Rhoades eventually found the perfect coach in Rhule to rebuild a program that was burned down to the ground and replaced him with a coach who posted the best record in school history. Did he have some screwups in later years? Absolutely, but without him taking the job in 2016, we might be *****ing about our 5th head coach since Art.

He took over a program in shambles and left it in shambles, while also neutering our men's and women's basketball programs and killing our baseball program.

You don't get credit for the highlights you experienced on a trip off the cliff.
