- Calling Dave a DEI hire is stupid: he was a hot commodity when hired
- We made the mistake of a lot of schools and gave him an extension after he one XII because LSU was sniffing around
- After seven years, Dave has not seemed to have figured it out ... every year comes with massive changes
- We might not have afforded his buyout last year, but if Mack had not been banging the MISD principal and gotten fired we might have Morris now

Its an interesting good point...

Certainly obvious there was no athletic leadership from the top an Aranda did not have someone he could rely on to just be normal at the AD position.

I hope Aranda just turns it around. But after this season with Rhoades gone and him given about as much support as BU can muster....if Aranda can not make it happen this season then it really is time to move on from him and find someone else.
