That is far down the list of what they are afraid of.
Just to name a few;
1. They fear winning is not a good example for a christian university to set.
2. They fear tough aggressive players are not good for the "look" Baylor is trying to portray for the Prestonwood crowd.

I'm not a hater, but I will write the truth. This fact underscores the historical mediocrity of BU football like nothing else could have. The CDA years in particular.
It also shoots the mocking of CAB's start at ENMU right in the head. For sure some thought is necessary to see that, but any clearer it could not be.

You are talking about coaches who hand both hands tied behind their back because we had no facilities or cars to hand out to hottest projected players in Texas. You are talking about coaches who you didn't mention that we hired simply because no one else wanted.
Briles showed what Baylor could do on the football field when supported by big donors, a bunch of new facilities to attract recruits and much bigger crowds than all the empty seats before his tenure.
Dave has shown nothing with the things Briles had plus NIL that Briles did not have.
Aranda's tenure will always be 50/50 at best. His inability to decide on defensive assistants show you he is micromanaging everything on the only side of the ball he is familiar with.
His defense, which is supposedly the reason for his hire, came from a. very leaky LSU defense that had a future pro quarterback and offense that could save the day 7 TD's to 6 for the Aranda defense.
