Well the 365 crowd finally got their way. The hottest coach in college football 5 years ago, who refused the number of offers from much larger programs(with more money) and showed his loyalty by speaking of his love and hopes and and obviously moral fit at Baylor now finds himself fired in the middle of a season where the team was three inches and a blocked field goal from a 6-1 record. I have followed this program since before my freshman year 1960 and have seen this same kind of complaints with all of our coaches except Briles, yes, including the one considered the greatest. Here is the way it goes 1. Get a new saviour 2. Don't give him enough resources 3. Give 4 year5s to get " his players" 4. Win or else for a couple of years 5. Listen to complainers like the 365 crowd 6. So Long 7. Next! I have seen too many. Bottom line, one has to question why any coach would want to coach at Baylor unless they could use it as a stepping stone like the current coach at Nebraska. I wish Aranda had done the same thing.
