LSU also pursued Herman. I have no idea who your dark horse candidate was I dont remember every thread I start let alone what others start.
I only remember one poster claiming it could be Rhule. Rhule was the right choice considering the decision was made to clean house and start over after 2016. He has no issues cleaning house at the expense of his record. He makes it clear it is his way or the highway.

LSU did kick the tires with Herman.

Yes....you type it and so therefore it must be true. Got it.

We discuss football in here - that includes Coaches.

If it's too stressful for you - you might consider a sabbatical?

Is Clem a "pig" or not?

Please clarify your position if compelled to do so.

KB's opportunity was to be a professional, to not be distracted by other issues and to lead our coaches to continue to coach a 6-0 team to a possible Big 12 Cham.
Yes, because you only get one opportunity.

Clements would be wise to take the SMU job and be viewed as his own man instead looking like someone who is a Briles family clinger. He's a great coach on his own and if he'll seperate himself he has a chance to rise in the business to a head position.
Why would you not want to ride with KB, who is one of the top 5 offensive coordinators in the country?

I've read a bunch of your stuff over the past few months remaining quiet about it....and not that you'd read anything to learn or consider another position since you're always hell bent on being right, labeling people, and generally being argumentative.

You might consider, instead of believing that people are hero worshiping and fantasizing a mythical return to glory for your "swine" - that some posters are simply thankful for 2 Big 12 Championships / believe in redemption and second chances for all mankind and generally just try hard to see and hope for the best in and for everyone.

Try to set your scandal glasses down and view peoples positions as rooting for men to recover as best they can.

Assume the best maybe?..or just get off the message boards altogether.?

Try it...you'd be happier.

You're the only one with a problem and apparently angry for not having your agenda taken seriously on the internet.

Back on topic, let's wish him the best. He was loyal and it burned him but he is a great coach and should be in Power 5. No doubt in my mind.

Yes back to the topic. What did someone mean earlier when they said the rumor is outside of Texas. The job is rumored to be outside of Texas or the rumor is literally buzzing in another state.

Someone's bringing up of Tech actually made the most sense to me. I could really see that happening. Its back to the P5 for both of them, and I'm fairly confident they will cool KK's seat down right away which is what KK needs right now to prevent next season from being his last.

Ah the thin skin of the usual suspects, they can't stand it when they're not taken seriously for their rumors about rumors.

You know, I recall the good ole days on BF where discussions, often heated ones were had between loyal fans who might disagree about topics from time to time, but all were seeking the same result, and that was what was best for Baylor. While I'm not saying that sometimes the conversations didn't become a bit salty, and I'm not suggesting that at times names weren't called, but I do not recall the incessant name calling and derogatory and dismissive tone being as prevalent as it is here. At times, even on interesting threads with worthy topics, the childish behavior makes them unreadable, and that's unfortunate. I have no problem with disagreements, but I have found over the years that I can disagree with someone respectfully, without being disagreeable. Perhaps that's a novel idea, but it sure would make reading these threads much more enjoyable. Passionate opinions and different views are what make the boards interesting -- that can and should happen without all the boorish name-calling.

And the recruiting has often been questionable. But in fairness, a trip to Indianapolis quickly cleared up the questions.

Maybe because their 7-6 record is quite likely the biggest coaching accomplishment in Baylor football history
Given what was hanging over their heads THAT team should have finished 1-11

Not in my lifetime or your lifetime. It was a disaster. Instead of getting mad, they should have tried to win all the games. It would have been the worst thing that could happen to those regents. What took place damaged the those coaches' careers.
The O line coach regretted the twitter salad toss, according to a reliable poster. He lost a good year towards retirement and a few towards the road back to Power 5.

Shamelessness was what got them fired in the first place, no surprise they would be oblivious to that even in the confines of conference USA.

Oh look a boob joke from someone that thinks female pronouns are insults and that other people's daughters are sexual collateral for a football program.

Let us all feign surprise.

To be 100% honest. If you didn't bring up sexual assault, CAB or anything related to that...this board would probably stop talking about those topics altogether.
