Did anybody else get far less than stellar tickets from the Baylor ticket office? Generally I've gotten pretty decent seats for events from them at AT&T Stadium but these are pretty mediocre. $155 per ticket for section 244 which is the section next to the end zone. I found offerings at Seat Geek for $85 per ticket that were around the 30 yard line. I just hope that they seat the band at the other end of the stadium or else we won't be able to hear the game in addition to not being able to see it up on the big board.

It's pretty well known that getting tickets through Baylor hasn't worked out for people in the past...it sucks...and hopefully one day will be different. Maybe it's this game I don't know I haven't looked, but don't feel bad getting them from the secondary market. Just make sure you get the BU section (if there even truly is one).

Sucks to hear but you always have take into account what venue the game is in. Cowboys season ticket holders get the option to buy these tickets at the first of every year and for any event. They all do knowing they will re sell them. So Baylor and OU get the left over seats after season ticket holders, companies and promotions.

Same for bowl games. You always find better seats though stub hub or seat geek. I got Sec 128 for $170.

Any bowl we make always buy through other websites. Best sugar bowl seats were bought by saints fans and any bowl in a NFL stadium. Hope you can find better seats for next away event. See yall Saturday.

Yep. I've been burned in the past by purchasing non-Waco football tickets directly from Baylor. We'll never do it again. The secondary market is just so easy to deal with now, and the cost is almost always significantly less.

Exactly. Hell if you wait till game day prices drop significantly because sellers are trying to get something for them and you can find really good deals if you monitor them close. I have done that for NFL, NBA and MLB tickets. Wait till game day a few hours before your set. Spread the word to any Bear fans we know to get to the game Saturday.

It's two days before game day and I still don't know where my seats are.

Section 241

Live and learn. I went through the Baylor Foundation hoping to at least get inside the 20's, instead I'm in section 240 and not very happy about it. I received an email that I can reserve tickets through the foundation for the Bowl game...no thanks! I'll take my chances on the open market where I will probably get them cheaper and I will certainly get them in a better location.

I'm in 244, not doing this again. These tickets cost more than stub hub and are almost the worst possible.

Same experience here. Went through Baylor for the Cotton Bowl, and we were in the top row of top section in the corner. We saw one guy in our row LITERALLY walk by with a nose bleed. Went through SeatGeek this time. Probably paid about the same as we would have through Baylor because of all the fees, but at least we knew what we were getting - and we didn't have to commit beforehand.
