Tech defense is not the KSU defense. The running game should be back which will give whoever QBs better options.

Most impressed with his composure and pocket presence. He kept plays alive and surveyed another option or two. Got rid of the ball when he had to.

Also, limited sample, but I think he made good read in the read option.

He's a capable runner who is quick and decisive but not the second coming of RG3. Get what you can and get down.

It seems to me the called more passing plays once he was in. We're the coaches playing to his strengths?

That dude came into a game where there were some men on defense and performed well. Kansas State is the third rated defense in the big 12 and on the road at that. He didn't get us in the end zone but he doesn't have a lot of experience with running with the first team in practice.

We know, we know. Charlie Brewer is your favorite baylor player Mr. Brewer. He was a serviceable QB and was awful has last year and awful at Utah.

Nah. I don't think GB loses his job due to injury. That's usually (though not always) a certain way to disrupt the morale of the team. Dallas Cowboys pulled it off with Dak over Romo, but that was a major exception. Seems like Tom Brady replaced Bledsoe, but he still got his job back.

Shapen played well but I suspect GB is QB1 until his performance doesn't merit it.

Early in the season I questioned our keeping the starters in the game longer than necessary with big leads and was afraid it would our hurt depth. This might be one reason we lost Zeno and I was especially afraid of GB getting hurt. I think it was because we had a new offense that the starters had to perfect and it paid off until GB did get hurt. This does however make Shapen's performance more impressive.
