I also appreciate that Phillip and Yvette are two spectacularly wonderful people. They deserve all the flowers thrown their way and then some.

Ok I know this thread was Waco BBQ but not sure a better place to put thistried Interstellar BBQ in Austin on Saturday. Waited in line about 45 minutes. Actually a much shorter line than my first attempt to stop there (didn't try that time)

Tried several things
Brisketwas solid but not spectacular. Certainly not in Miller's category but better than the average place
Piri-piri chickenspicy sauce on smoked chicken. Was good. Not as hot as advertised but spicy enough to be interesting. Was a Saturday special
Pork bellythis was the reason to go. They do a peach-based very light sauce on the pork belly and it was fabulous. I'd go back just for that.

Only side I tried was the pablano cream corn. It was very good. Nicely spiced. Kind of heavy in butter.


They just do lunch I think. Can order ahead and go to a shorter line. What I'll do if I go back
