I noticed a new Common Grounds opened last week I think down on Franklin getting kind of close to the VM intersection in the building that was originally a Whataburger (I believe). To be more specific as I think about it, it is the part of Franklin fairly close to behind the Castle. Today driving by I noticed one of the old abandoned used car lots maybe a block closer to down town from that site, has a sign that says "Food Truck Court Coming Soon".

I think that part of Franklin is going to gentrify pretty quickly. I can't believe how fast this is progressing.

Waco needs to keep doing what they are doing to pull businesses and tourism downtown. It is obviously making a difference.

This isn't the downtown area of Franklin. This is getting kind of close to the La Fiesta. . Btw the food truck park is actually going to be right next door to the Common Grounds I noticed again.

I saw a Common Grounds in Brownwood a couple of weeks ago near the downtown area.

Any relation?

Heck, they already have Underwood's. I was partying like I was back in College again!

Evidently the name "Common Grounds" isn't trademarked. Because I think there's one in every city. The one is Brownwood is owned by my good friend. And thanks for the Underwood's shout out.
