Fantastic meal and service tonight. I will say we ordered the "gulf stream" cold platter as an app, and it was good not great. Tough ask for that to be totally fresh in Waco, but I would expect better at $75. You could tell it was a few days old, not in a bad way, just expected. Good, not great.

Now the main course, I ordered the steak and my wife had the scallops, were excellent. The steak was only $45 which is value priced for a steak these days. Was it the best steak or better than 135, no. BUT, with the truffle butter and the broccolini and cauliflour sides, it may be the best plate I have had in quite some time. Everything was a good mixture of depth of flavor and texture. Really impressive. Pass on the cold plate, but go in for the entree and sides. Very impressed.

Went again before the game Saturday. Sat on the patio, this is the spot you need to hang. Great vibe. They need someone who knows something about wine on the floor. The waiters don't know jack. Overall great experience and I'll be back next time I'm in Waco.

Had a really good meal before the game last night. Patio is great. Wine BTG is a tad limited but that's a minor quibble.

Wife and I went tonight and it was excellent. What a gem for Waco.

Food was as good as any seafood I've had including when I was in Newport, RI last summer. Oysters were so fresh tasting and everything was just top notch.

It isn't too big so make sure to set a reservation.

Wondering what the more recent experiences have been here. Do they have a lunch menu option on the weekends? I did not see a lunch menu on the web site.

I've been twice in the past few months. It was great, although expensive and small portions. I got the snapper both times. It is a unique experience for Waco for sure.

We went a couple of weeks ago and it was excellent. As noted, a bit expensive, but oustanding food and unique in Waco. We have only been once so I don't know about other parts of the restaurant but we were seated in a small room that had mostly two-seat tables and they are very close together, so no private conversations at all. Sitting in my seat I could have elbowed the guy next to me. We did make some new friends sitting next to us.

I know what you're talking about. When we went we were seated in that room but in the back corner. I told them it was our anniversary even though it wasn't. We got some nice seats and felt much more secluded. They gave us free dessert or some perk for our anniversary I can't remember. I just told my wife I'm telling everyone it's our anniversary whenever we eat out again.

My wife is gluten free and the first time we went the waiter didn't have a clue about GF options. The second time we went we had a girl who was GF herself and she knew everything. Even menu items they could make GF if you know how to ask. She is apparently in good with the cooks and can get special stuff. She was good, I just can't remember her name.

Seating is tight, fortunately the reservation system is very specific about the seating available, but is only helpful if you've been there previously and are familiar with the descriptions.

I had to call them because the only seating I saw online was in the bar area. After calling they put me in the regular dining room.

have been three times. May be the best place in Waco. Fantastic seafood and great cocktails! What an awesome addition to Waco. Wine by the glass menu is the only real disappointment here. Can't wait to return.

Yeah, the specificity in the reservation system is super helpful.

This place is excellent. I'm amazed it's doing the traffic that it does in Waco. Would really be curious to get a feel for the breakdown of how much of that is tourists, Baylor-related traffic, locals, etc.

Wasn't that long ago that you couldn't stay open in Waco if you couldn't feed people for $10.
