Went to the website. Good lord that menu looks good.

Had lunch there today. Fantastic draft selection and the dogs were tasty. Surprisingly good service considering this was only day 2 of operating.

This will be our new go to before basketball games.

Y'all go check it out.

They have a great brat menu as well. I tried it last night. The owner is really nice, though she has a TCU degree. HA ha. (She has a Baylor degree as well.)

I enjoyed the Das Brat and cheese tots last evening. Great beer food.

ok, need to make a trip down to this place..

I've had the "The Big D" and the "Tooo Chi" so far. Both were really good. My friend got a corn dog and it was huge.

I really like this place.

As a beer snob, I am interested in their beer selection. I looked at their online menu, but there isn't one for beer. Can anyone comment on it?

i love hot dogs and hot dog shaped objects. cant wait to try this.

I had the Chicago dog and it was terrific. They do have a lot of taps. Dominant presence of the national labels but there are a serviceable number of craft options, a few of which are local.

Looks like a good setup with all the TVs and draft offerings. Is there a patio?

Yes, there is a big patio on U-Parks. Seats another 30 or so.

We are going to go and I'm going to try that wheat ale.

Hopefully it's got a hefewiessen taste.

been there twice, last vist was late lunch and they were half to 3/4 full which is good for the time

Two visits so far. Latest was 2 weeks ago. Had the wings. Top notch. Service was a bit spotty considering they were fairly empty at the time. But the food has been really solid both visits.

This is a GREAT pregame spot for basketball games.

We've been about three or four times.

My BIL has a condo downtown so we walk over there on Sunday nights. Non-game night the service is decent. We usually sit at the bar. The food is good. I've had the Cowboy a few time. The Tots were mid at best. I'd prolly try the seasoning for an extra dollar, but the reg fries are better.

We went before the UTRGV game for beers and enjoyed the patio.

Sadly, last Sunday before the UW game, the place was packed. Service was not good at all. We had to ask three times for my son's fries before they arrived. We were ready to go at that point. We had to ask a few times for them to change the channel on one of the bar TV's to the NBC Sunday booth game. We finally got the manager to change it.

We'll be back because we can walk from condo to Dog Haus to game easily. On big game nights, they are going to need to staff up.

What they do isn't complicated. It's a boiled hotdog between split and toasted Hawaiian Rolls and add toppings. Hardly rocket science.

Went a couple weeks ago. Food was good, cool bar area with the doors open to the outside. Service was just okay at a table. Struggled to get TVs adjusted to games that people actually wanted to watch.

Drinks good but the margarita was the smallest one I've seen in my life; four or five good sips and it was empty. Overall I'll go back but will stick to beer and probably sit at the bar. And weirdly, none of the items I ordered off the menu are shown on their online menu.

Seems like they have some work to do to work out the kinks but the food was good enough and I liked the bar set up, so I'll go back.

Not going - Baylor football on 30+ TVs??? How the hell are you supposed to eat while watching that???

No, it is not. The rest of the menu is legit though. And the beer selection is on point.

If you want a true Chicago dog head north to Portillos in DFW.

I'm originally from Chicago so I get ya! No poppy seed bun... The Hawaiian bread was really good tho. Not a fan of tomatoes, so I had them hold 'em.
