$5 Nitro milk stout.... This is my favorite place in town now that we have moved to the wrong side of town... All the food has been pretty good. The beet deviled eggs were good, but the yolks weren't creamed like in the photos which made it a little disjointed if maybe easier to produce on their end. Harissa honey butter chicken wings were really good, but the pickled veggies served with them were a really pleasant surprise. So far we have tried the Tri-Tip which was a little dry on mine the time I tried it, but my father enjoyed when we took them there, I think because he got a little more horseradish mayo. My wife really liked the blackened chicken caesar wrap. I think the pulled pork sandwich needs pickles, pickled onions, or some kind of other acid added as it is a little just blam with BBQ one note... My wife thinks the shrimp and grits were "fine" which is about as middle of the road as one can get. The sweet potato fries are great, I don't really like the thick tallow fries, but everyone else likes them and the photos show thin ones so I must have been the minority... On a tangent, it is $3 additional charge to substitute a side for the fries, or $4 to just add a side which kind of ticked me off, but the side salad is really dang good... I'm assuming they make their own ranch or get it from somewhere that knows how to make really good ranch. Great fresh spring mix, with diced tomato, shredded cheese, crouton, shredded cucumber I think... My point is, it is a good salad similar to what one would get from Cheddar's which also has a really good side house salad, I'm just a little mad they only apparently value their french fries at $1 if you don't want them. Offer sides as an even trade please if you are charging the same price a la carte... My 3.8O daughter loves the thick boi fries and has gotten the $8 smashburger meal each time which looked so good I ordered the twice as expensive unsubsidized burger once and it was... fine... The bread is good, maybe I was full from the other stuff, but the burger was just OK... Didn't finish... The empenadas and Dirty Bird chicken sandwich are on my list to chack out next time. My wife thought the chai tres leches stuff was just OK and I thought it was gross, but I generally don't like soggy cake... I loved the chai buns from Neighborhood Bakery, this just didn't fit at all in my opinion.
tl;dr $5 Nitro milk stout good....
