Looks gorgeous. Can't wait to get down there.
Drove up the Bosque before a football game last year. I was surprised how far you could make it by boat.

Where is the easiest way to get to the entry point?
Whitney down to Dick's is a beautiful trip with a lot of very good fishing holes. Caught lots of great fish along that stretch. But if it's a hot day with no release from the dam and a south wind in your face ... it's a slog. If there is a solid release, the trip is nice and easy and enjoyable. We used to do it during a full moon during midnight releases. That's a blast.

Thanks, I had found that site but will it say on there in advance or do you just have to monitor the current conditions?
All you can do is monitor past activity and make a guess based on that, unless you can get ahold of someone at BRA or in the plant who can tell you more - nothing publicly available.
