Someone please assure me this is Thomas last year. He has been playing center for BU for 6 years and still has no idea how the game works. Terrible on defense, slow to the ball, no awareness on the fast break, and little guys out rebounding him. Waste of 7'4' wingspan.

Thomba is good role player. Solid defense and rebounding. I kept expecting him to develop an offensive game but it never happened.

I went back and looked, and they're actually not bad takes. Called our football team a 6-6 squad pretty early on in the season and defended Aranda as a good coach who made a bad call on QB last season.

I, too, hoped that Flo would figure it out later in his career, and that the mini run he went on last year when EJ got hurt was a sign of things to come this year. At this point, he is what he is. Great screener, good defender, solid rebounder. Doesn't give you much at all on the offensive end. If he could only go up strong to the hoop, that would cover for a multitude of sins. I'm glad he's on our squad, though.

Sadly, he has developed quite a bit offensively from what he was when he came to Waco.

He's just a low-ceiling player. But he's done a hell of a job over his time at Baylor to make himself an asset. He deserves to be commended for that, not ridiculed (talking to the OP, not you).

This guy wasn't a blue-chip recruit. He was a late-take three-star after we missed on our top JUCO target who has gone on to become the winningest player in Baylor men's basketball history. That's a heck of a story.

I remember Joey Fatta. For all of his faults - especially on the offensive end - I'd take Thamba over Fatta anytime and as slow as Flo is, he isn't slower than Fatta was.

Number of posts still has nothing to do with basketball knowledge. There's a solid case to be made for his points. Thanks for the examples of using ad hominem arguments rather than facts.
