I am not surprised we beat them last night. I thought and still think our A game is better than their A game. But their best 2 players played well last night. And their best player Wilson has played very well during all 3 losses.

Their ceiling is not very high. Yet I still think this season they are one of 30-40 teams that can win it all.

They are currently in a 3-game losing streak. Looking at their upcoming schedule, that could well go to a seven game losing streak.

Kansas has some real issues. Dick and Wilson are better than our two best...and I think those two alone prevented a blowout last night...but outside of them? Yikes.

Harris appears to be a sub-par PG, Self apparently has ZERO trust in his bench, and they have no inside presence at all. We basically won the game on offensive rebounding.

They have a pretty brutal 4-game stretch coming up where it wouldn't be crazy if they walked away from it on a 7-game skid. But maybe Self figures something out with the rotation, and they can make a run. They certainly have the talent on paper.

Imagine what our score might have been if Keyonte had been 100%.

Yep.. they don't have that big dude they've ALWAYS had that you could to throw it inside to get a bucket...and no bench whatsoever...they got 2 bench points last night.

I think they had 3 on Saturday against Toad.

Maybe the worst set of KU bigs I've seen.

They aren't deep. Weak bench.

Not surprised one bit they've lost 3 straight. They lost to KSU, TCU, and us. All top 10 and final 4 caliber teams. Blackie nailed it, they play Kentucky and back to the big 12 grind. The big 12 is a beast of a conference. Not one single team can be penciled in as an easy win.

They should roll KY to snap the streak.....Self needs to invoke a little Drew action and go to a smaller lineup to maybe 3-4 guard set - - we absolutely played the best defense I've seen so far from this team....

UK is a horrible matchup for them. Oscar gonna go for 35/20. They'll bounce back at home and beat KSU next week

They can beat Kentucky, but I don't know about rolling them. They won't get swept by KSU though. I think that's in the Big 12 bylaws.

No question. I am definitely not complaining. CB It was a beautiful win!

However, what if Cryer shot in the second half as well as he did in the first? That goes two ways as well!!

I think the world has turned upside down since COVID in many ways including college sports. Almost two years without the portal, teams had to sign kids without the advantage of watching film. Some did well, others not as good.
