Best I can recall he really didn't think much of Baylor/our Conference. Can't recall, but he had a smug comment toward us once and I lost my respect.

I learned a lot about basketball from Billy and Al.They were very insightful commentators.

Not defending it if it was a classless remark, but other than a rare season here or there we pretty much stunk during his years of active broadcasting and prior to us going to the B12, our conference usually pretty much stunk as well, other than maybe the top one to two teams in an average season. As I recall, he was retired, and out of the broadcasting picture before our program really took off.
