Did the dog who crapped the floor at Louisville visit our place today?

Flo had more fouls than points and rebounds in his last home game. Just wasn't our day… no energy or urgency.

If OU somehow beats TCU today will get iSu in KC… not that that's any better

Would probably prefer that. Need the team to show something and being forced to play a team that has dominated both games would be an appropriate test. If they can't get up for that type of game then we know what we have.

I'm still shocked. No pride in todays game. Betting it pushed in by a rag tag team in your home court in front of parents

I'd rather get iowa state. This has been an odd year for baylor basketball

Just don't have that guy to really not allow the team to bring weak effort. 21' had Davion, Vital, Teague, Butler.. and younger Jon that all would not allow any slacking or laying down. We have Jon but at a shell of himself right now. That's it as far as vocal energy on the court.

Bridges brings effort but is laid back naturally and is new. Bonner plays hard but to rely on a guy you just sat 5 straight for juice is an example how disjointed and flawed this team is right now.

Still probably unrealistically optimistic they can get hot and make a run. Somehow this team beat a very good Ucla team and beat a KU team. Also got run off the court against Va, Marquette, Iowa St, KU, K state (2nd half) etc.. Would like to play Iowa St again in the big 12 tourney to see what kind of toughness this team has.

What was missing today was JOY, and CSD would be the first to say so.

Several times in the last few years we have had an inexplicable loss just like this. The last couple of years it's come in the conference tourney (OKST in 21, OU last year), but I recall ones in 18 or 19 that were similar eggs laid at home; once to KSt and once to WV when they were near the bottom of the league.

For whatever reason we just tend not not do well at the end of the regular season, and conference tourney. Same old thing. Normally they pick it up for the big dance.

Last 4 out. They don't care so why should I?

Yep, these games happen in sports. We got outworkef by a team who wanted and needed this game much than us. It happens.

Kstate and TCU fans probably think their team quit today too..both lost to worst teams than we did..just another day in Big 12

Appears it will be 4/5 matchup with us against ISU with Kansas looming.

Exactly. In the best conference in the nation, can never let your energy level drop like we did today.

We better be ready for this type of intensity another team brings in the NCAA Tournament.

Yeah..11am start made me think we were still asleep..I know some schools do the put the team in a hotel even at home night before game to block out distractions..I don't think Drew does that but I'm not sure..

Looks like it's 1130am next week so I feel confident that won't be an issue in KC.

Agreed. George, at this point in his career, doesn't add enough to the team to warrant his minutes. In 2 or 3 years he'll probably add more than he takes away, but we're in the here and now. Hopefully Drew sees that and adjusts his playing time accordingly.

I thought he made a good point. Key can't/doesn't play defense. It doesn't take a HOF coach, or even a middle school coach for that matter, to draw that conclusion.

Agreed. Too many holes in this team for a deep tourney run.

historian and nsg, don't feed the trolls. They are so predictable. After every loss the sky is falling, individual players are scapegoated, and Drew can't coach potentially even at the middle school level.

What options does Drew realistically have ? Any opponent knows they have a chance to beat Baylor if they can pressure the 1,2 &3 spots and not allow any open 3's. They dare Baylor to beat them with scoring from the 4&5 spots and that is just not going to happen. Bridges has skills , but face facts he is not big enough to bang it out under the basket. No other 4 spot on the team has adequate offensive skills. Flo is suspect on any pick and roll as he has the worst hands in Basketball. Good player, especially setting screens, but that keeps him at the top of the key most of the time. You make the best with what you have or do not have.

This sadly feels appropriate for Flo's senior day. A very emblematic stat line for his career. He was the best we had because we haven't had anyone decent since Freddy.

We actually were 0-3...then won 9 of next 10.

How is it possible, that on Sr Day, last home game of the Ferrell Center era, virtual packed house just waiting to erupt, the team is not energized? It doesn't make sense. Drew needs to read his room better, but he said he depends on a player led team, not a coach led team. His words after the Natty win.

I didn't see ADMR at either Senior Day event. Is that normal?
