With Flagler formally deciding to stay in the draft, maybe this guy comes to Guard U.

Scoring machine, crafty and can score from all 3 levels and distribute as well. Would be thrilled to get him, work your magic CSD!

Great pace guy. Good feel for the game. Not a great athlete but better than LJ in that department and at least on par with Flag. Looks like a college sam cassell type player

This guys game is more inside and mid range first with the the ability to hit a three VS... just hanging out behind the line looking for a long ball opening.

I still have PTSD from 5 for 50 from 3 point line in the NCAA tournament. If the opponent is taking away the 3 point line with a 7 footer locking us out of the paint we need a mid-range game. This guy appears to have it and he can get to the hole.

Can he play defense?

Don't think he's a great defender but is long. Our guards last year were not. Can contest much more aggressively than LJ so should a major upgrade in comparison even as a mediocre defender

On par athletically I mean not as an overall player. Flag is better obviously. I agree this could probably be an even trade for LJ and possible upgrade. Much better passer and feel for the game. Hopefully it translates to the big 12 level

The Illinois board is PISSED they didn't get him. Big pickup by CSD and staff.
