That poor guy has been through the wringer the past few years. I hope he can recover from this as well.

Say what you want about his commentary, but Dick Vitale is a great person, by virtually all accounts. And he is a wonderful ambassador for college basketball. I hope he can make it back to the mic.

It began with Coach Drew, naturally, and Baylor treated him like royalty. That was a memorable game: Baylor destroyed Villanova in Waco.
