Coach Kight's players played solid fundamental basketball, his teams competed for championships and what he was most proud of an almost 100.0% Graduation rate. A real legend. RIP Bobby Knight !!

My memory of Coach Knight is pretty much limited to his Texas Tech years, but my dad always told me about the earlier years. If you want to read a fantastic piece, check out the Jay Bilas article on ESPN.com. It is extremely well done.

If you have not done so you need to read A Season on the Brink by John Feinstein. While not a fan of his colorful language and hate of the media, I respected the heck out of his coaching. He was a great teacher of the game.

I have no idea why I didn't think about it earlier, but rooting for Scott Drew to beat Gonzaga in 2021 (and thus preserving his team as the last undefeated champion) must have gotten to him at little bit given that history there.

I laugh at those videos everytime I see them. They are the gift that keeps on giving. Like an SNL skit from years ago when the show was still funny.
