As a #1 seed last year Purdue lost to a #16, not sure if they're ready for primetime yet.

UVa bombed out as a 1 seed in 2018, then won it all in 2019. And Edey is pretty unstoppable as a college player. I think they've got to be the favorites, though Arizona is right there. I'm still not convinced by the LJ Cryer-led UofH team. And BYU the outlier here.

But I love these lists showing what good shape Baylor is in. So much potential and so many strengths on this team. Gonna be a fun rest of the season.

Houston has to come through their toughest season ever (imho) and be healthy enough and have enough energy remaining to make a deep run.

I think it is very likely that the championship game will be between two of: Arizona, Purdue and Baylor. It will probably be Arizona versus Purdue but we certainly could be there.

Wayyyyy too early. There's tons of squads who could get healthy and make a push to win it this year. Duke and Kentucky come to mind. Tenn has a shot. Creighton is dangerous. KU, UConn, Marquette all capable. And all of these squads have played a much more difficult schedule than us to date. These next 2 will paint a good picture of just how good this BU team can be

Since inception of NET rankings…

It only started in 20-21. So I'm not really gonna put stock in it.

I think since 2003 the champ has come from the top 16 of KenPom

Yes it is too early. All predictions in December are nothing but speculation. Some web sites already have projected brackets when most teams have played less than 10 games!

They've only had the NET for 5 years. I'm guessing Bill Self hasn't conceded the year yet.

Exactly - this is a bad case of Premature Inauguration
