Has anyone heard from the AD on this? Anyone hear the solution?

Camera angle still stucks with no end in sight. ESPN will continue to punish us for it with Spatola.

I blame the camera angle for our woes shooting the three ball in conference play. Coincidence? I think not.

Bad cameral angle is bad. Did no-one think of this during the planning phase?

Even CBSsports, in praising the downsizing to create a more intimate and hostile atmosphere, took a passing shot at the tv camera angles. This is a failure in the initial planning and design phases. At the end of the day, who cares about bench shots? It's the on court action that matters.

I'm with you. If we go on a slide at all for any reason? Curse of the Camera Angle. We need a miracle from the Camera Angel.

Now the camera angle could help us….if teams are trying to watch our film they might not see certain things due to the high camera angle.

I have it on good authority that the Camera Angle is in cahoots with the old Tarp at FCS.

Longhorns also win the Camera viewing game today. By double-digits.

Foster camera placement is a (another) real brain fart by Rhoades.

Any updates on our camera angle?

Thanks for the information, I hope the angle will be good.

It's official, Gallagher Iba camera angles are better than Foster.

I'm watching the Auburn - Alabama game, and I realize the camera angle makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the action. As opposed to the Foster in which the feeling is like you're watching from afar sort of a sense like you're disengaged from the play. The contrast is quite stark from my perspective this evening.

BTW, I think the Alabama camera angle is very similar to that of what I remember watching games from the Ferrell Center.

It should tell you how bad of a look it is, pun intended

This thread belongs at the top until Baylor decides to address the issue. This means it might spend about 690 weeks at the top, as this AD is not known for quick responses.

At the game today. Looking at the position live I'm amazed it only looks as bad as it does. How did anyone sign off on that.

Yes. I am at the game complaining about the camera angle. It's a hat obviously bad.

People will stop talking about it when they fix it ... or at least tell us how they plan to. Radio silence draws additional criticism.

It's ridiculous to continue whining about something and expect them to fix it immediately. Time for a reality check

It's not ridiculous to mention obvious problems. And we as fans are reminded how big of a problem this is every time we watch a game on TV.

The only reality check needed is by our administration. This angle is a joke, and everyone's talking about it.

If the administration wants people to stop talking about it, all it has to do is address the issue and explain how they intend to remedy it.

It is definitely ridiculous to sound like a broken record saying something over and over again. Some people need to understand the value of patience.

Would it kill Baylor to say "we've heard the complaints about the camera angle; we'll evaluate it after the season and explore possible solutions?"

C'mon. This isn't the government we're asking something of.

Patience is earned. Everyone would be patient if we knew it was going to be fixed. There has been literally no indication given that it will be, and that's frankly ridiculous.

This.

This is all that needs to happen, and everyone will lay off. That it hasn't happened yet is a joke.

Good point but it's still wasted on these boards. Unending complaints here won't change anything. Saying the same thing over & over again is annoying for those of us interested in basketball & will only make the complainer more frustrated. It's a lose-lose situation.

Once any human being or entity claims infallibility, there's almost no going back. Even then, it only happens with a total change of leadership/governance.

I've posted on other threads about this complaint and everyone should brace themselves for no action to be taken. The venue was built for a fan experience, not a TV experience. If you look at how the arena was constructed, they have put preferred seating ($$$) in the ideal TV camera spot. And they are not eliminating those seats so that people watching on TV have a better camera angle. The only option is to locate the cameras on the opposite side of the arena (BU logo would be upside down for TV) which would then cause them to have to also relocate the TV announcers to the opposite side of the sideline, which is occupied by game officials. They would also need to remove ADA seating and build into the concourse where there is already a concession stand. Don't want to burst any bubbles, but I don't see this happening.

My bubble is fine. But this arena sucks. And it's the worst in the nation. If you don't mind that, then great grand wonderful. Until they change it, then they will be the laughing stock of the entire country. I wish Mack Rhoades would leave. He has no attention to detail at all.

Have you attended a game in-person? Curious as to why you think it stinks (other than the camera angle)?
