I am so damned sick and tired of hearing people complain about......the video angle!!

IT WILL BE FIXED!!! If you think it won't be, I have some swampland in Florida to sell.

Here is what we have:

1. A brand new arena that folks as diverse as CBS Sports thinks is genius.
2. A 3-0 conference record.
3. One of the absolutely best home court advantages in ALL of NCAA basketball.
4. An absolute genius as a coach who could double his salary tomorrow, but because of his character and beliefs, stays at Baylor.

Stop talking about the "tiny" arena. Please. It's frigging genius. Other than Cameron or Allen...tell me a better home court advantage.

This is Baylor, for crying out loud. Baylor!!! When I was at Baylor we played in a cow barn on the other side of town.

Some of you folks, if you had been offered a date with the prom queen, would have turned her down because you didn't like the color of her dress, or her hairstyle.

She's the prom queen, for G.... Sake.

Some of you folks just can't stand success.

Give it up! Seriously, I think if someone gifted you $1 million you would be mad because it wasn't $2 million.

If you don't like the camera angle, offer the AD $25k to fix it.

Damn, it will be fixed if they want to fix it. If Coach Drew hates it, they will fix it.

Guess what....maybe it's so unusual that it becomes something special? Who knows?

My guess is that it will be fixed, but for G...sake...can you NOT be happy?

I have it on good authority that the Prom Queen turned down the OP when he asked her out.

It needs to be fixed. Full stop. It is awful and inexcusable.

Will it be fixed? They have not said so. If they say it will be fixed and when it will people will shut up. All they have to do to get people to shut up is fix it or say when it will be fixed.

Until they do, people will continue to highlight the piss poor planning.

Admit it's bad. Say when it will be fixed. That's what honest people do every frikin' day. Easy.

Yes, I'm mad at stupid Baylor fans complaining when they have a brilliant shiny new toy.

If you're talking about the guy complaining ad nausem about the camera angle, fine.

If you think I'm complaining about the guy who constantly complains about the camara angle (which will, or will not, be changed depending on what folks who gave tens of millions of dollars want) then you are right. I think the guys needs to shut up and enjoy success.

I think the point has been made about 100 times that it's a mistake.

That's fine...it's America...feel free to gripe.

My point is....can you not be happy with what we have? Can you not think positively?

The point about the camera angle HAS BEEN MADE.

Some folks spend their life focusing on the negative when there is positive all around them. I actually feel sorry for them.

I posted about it being bad in their first game there. It was. It was great tonight. Totally totally different. If no one said anything, would it have been remedied.

Probably, but people voiced their feelings (ad nausem) and according to you, it was remedied. I have zero problems with folks saying what they feel (especially on a silly internet message board like this one), but I feek sorry for people focusing incessantly about something negative (when it has been said about 100 times), when we just won a Big 12 game in an arena that no one could have dreamed would exist, with a team and coach no one could have dreamed would exist, 20 years ago.

I'm suggesting the constant complainers chill.

True. On both counts.

We can't build another new arena. We're stuck with this one for the next 50 years or so...thankfully.

The camera view can be fixed.

My point is that some people simply cannot seem to be happy....they focus on the negative and can't enjoy a time in Baylor history (I go back to 1966) that for us old coots is borderline magical and unbelievable.

The point about the camera angle has been made. Give it up. Talk about a good win against a good team on a night we didn't play well.

So I've been to every game at Foster and the arena was clearly built with one thing in mind…game atmosphere. It was not built to prioritize the TV viewer atmosphere. I don't want to piss anymore people off by saying this, but I doubt it changes. The only place they could put the cameras would be right in the middle of the Loge section which is where the big donors sit. Gallagher-Iba is the same and it's been that way for 30+ years.

You hit the nail on the head. It is not unreasonable for alumni to expect a measure of transparency from the athletic department. And on the issue of the camera angle, which is the worst in basketball, we deserve an answer.

And you know else? I'm going to keep complaining and raising my own tiny version of hell until the matter is addressed.

Oh, and yes, I"m also glad we are 3-0 in conference play.

Every basketball thread is taken over by complaints about the camera angle. The point has been made. There is no need for everyone to say it over and over again in every single thread like a broken record (I'm showing my age there). We get it. The camera angle is bad. Now let's talk about something else. Saying it a million times in every thread is not going yo change anything. After awhile it becomes annoying, more than the camera angle.

Well while we're at it, this is the second game this season I've been to where we've had hiccups with the pre game intro video. First was seton hall (Drew was visible upset), and 2nd was last night (minor issue where they had a delayed pause and had to restart. Would be nice to fix that. Also the scoreboard on the ribbon above section 120 went out with about 2 minutes left in the game. Just passing this along to anyone who cares to know. Carry on.

PS - didn't know about the bathroom stalls not being able to close all the way. If there is no latch how does it close? Very Odd.

Other than that - Foster is great. You guys were so loud last night at the right times. Really appreciate that. We truly do have a home court advantage and I can't wait for Texas and Oklahoma to get the 'warmest' of sendoffs this year.

Most of the people who watch Baylor Basketball will never set foot inside the Foster Pavilion. We should be seriously concerned about the perception most or our audience will have of the facility, program and institution.

But my major concern is the marked tendency, even in an issue as minor is this, for the University to simply deny (or simply ignore) the problem, not take responsibility for it, and not formulate and announce a plan to fix it.

I agree. One reason several here believe it needs to remain a topic. Try to force their hand. Which I understand. But Baylor probably has no plan or desire to change it.

Until it's fixed or at least addressed, there's fair reason to believe the complaints haven't been heard or taken seriously yet.

The ball is in our AD's court. He can end all complaints with a plan for how and when the issue is going to be resolved.

But it is a real issue. And not just within Baylor fandom. There are constant references by influencers in the sport about how bad our camera angle is. This isn't a problem that will fix itself. It needs to be addressed.
