We are about to jump off of a bridge because our to losses came because of our ineffectiveness at the end of the games. That is the difference.

We literally lost two games (in particular, one) that we should have won with no problem.

But... I guess Kansas could say the same thing (sort of)?

Bingo…. KU can say that about UCF. But WV not so much
We pissed away both games at the end.. no reason we should have went 0-2 this week.

Every school in the league this year is going to lose games that they should have won with no problem. Part of that is fans believing there is a team that presents "no problem" while parity says "hi". No game is "not a problem", especially on the road.

And ineffectiveness occurs throughout the game. It just shows up more at the end. If you are more effective at the start and middle of the game, what happens in the end may not matter. Just like in baseball, the first inning is just as important as the last because it puts you in position that determines whether what ever happens in the 9th may make the game closer but doesn't change the outcome.

yes, the "not a problem" take is pretty lame in this league which is without a cupcake this year, including oSu. coaching matters most when every game is a grinder. not only the x's and o's part which is critical down the stretch but also getting guys in the right mindset before the fact.

We fell to 15. AP is far too generous.

I just want our team to learn from it and try to get better as the season progresses at the end of games. I am still amazed that we went 8 minutes without a bucket against UT.

That's happened two games in a row in very similar parts of the game. Extremely troubling.

I've said before it's a problem of offensive identity. If someone other than Love would take up the sword and eeek out just a basket or two to prevent those kind of droughts from happening, we're 5-0.

It's particularly amazing when you consider how well we shot it the rest of the game. I get it that it's extremely rare at most for any team to be hot from the field for 40 minutes, but in a league like the B12 you can't blank for those kinds of stretches and expect to win - especially on the road.
