For what it’s worth, there’s a flu bug going around the Tech basketball team / staff. Sounds like several players have been impacted including a few that
played tonight. Something to monitor as Tech plays again in a few days.

fwiw, this flu issue was something being said for their last game against Cincinnati on Saturday. Some were wondering about Pop Isaacs seemingly low energy during the game. If this was an issue, I don't think it would be come tomorrow.

Yeah I watched the game and he was struggling mightily with headaches. Did hit some big shots down the stretch though.

As long as they call it a flu bug and don't use the C word, they can play. And, you can't be diagnosed with Covid if you don't test for it.

I doubt there is a way the league can force a team to test for Covid but, I'd think a positive Covid test would still force a team to not bring a player.

I know the latest and "greatest" variant is going around my work.

My greatest fear, if this is Covid, is I'll have to go pickup my pizza.

Yes... alleged rape/sexual assault of a former(?) teammates sister during their tournament in Bahamas.

I'm hearing when they played TCU that the TCU fans yelled 16 years old when Issacs got the ball each time. Not sure our fans would yell that. It is ironic though as TT fans would yell no means no and this kind of is in that same thing though statutory.

I would hope we'd rise above that nonsense. It comes across as trashy and second rate IMO.

I believe Darrell is still among the living? He was working for the Pistons last I heard. It was a dream, not a ghost.

As to the concerns that Tech student/athletes may be infectious: guard them close but not that close...
