So only 1 win and it's against a cupcake, 2 big losses against P5 teams, and a good game they could go either way. Arizona is still very much in this one.

While I was writing, Pitt scored again. Final: 86-62

I'll catch flack but the big 12 is top heavy. When you get past the group of Az, BU, ISU, Houston, KU and Cincy the drop off is gigantic.

Give TCU credit for going into Ann Arbor to play in November. It looks like the game was close but Frogs couldn't score down the stretch.

I'm not sure you can call the Big 12 even top heavy so far. We got curbstomped by Gonzaga, Houston couldn't beat Auburn on their home court, Arizona got boatraced against a Wisconsin team projected to finish 12th out of 18 teams in the B1G. About the only decent win so far is KU's victory by 3 over UNC. Maybe we get some credit for beating Arkansas although Arkansas may be a sitting duck because they've struggled to the final minutes in beating two patsies. Who knows what Iowa St is because they load their non-conference schedule with a schedule as embarrassing as an Art Briles non-conference patsy fest.

The Big 12 will get better as the season progresses because we are just at the start right now but it certainly hasn't gotten off to a strong start.
