That's been the game plan for multiple years. Shouldn't surprise anyone. When it works we light teams up. When it doesn't we end up in dog fights

Finally started hitting some of our open looks. Up 20 at the half. Would be a closer game but Utah even colder than us.
Took a while, but we finally settled in and looked like a ranked team, playing at home against the weakest team in their conference, the last few minutes of half.
Dominate 1st half overall. Nice lead up to the bowl game

Utah is not a very good team. If we play like this against ISU we'll be in big trouble
Defense wasn't great but decent. Utah missing decent looks. But they are more active than they've been most of the year.
Celestine is much more active than usual on D and it makes a huge difference. Usually extremely slow to the ball, no hands, and slow footwork.. not as much today. Better.

More impressive for West Virginia their plane diverted to Miami and blew a tire on landing.. didn't get to hotel till 2am for 1 pm tip.

We need Love to help more off the bench. Needs to get his shot back from being out so long.
Defense played fairly well. Need to get Love going. That would take this team to the next level.

Solid taking care of biz type win against a team we should dominate, especially at home. Stunned that KU didn't do the same against WVU.

Utah is a loooooong way from playing in the Big 12 in basketball.

Utah, TCU and Oklahoma St are all difficult to watch on offense. All 3 at or near the bottom of the Big 12 in most offensive metrics. But our D looked much better overall today. Saturday will be the first litmus test.BearFan33 said:
