Zebras are the key to a win against MS State. They are PHYSICAL and deep, luckily they don't shoot it great. Look for a lot of zone, and maybe Box N 1 if our guys are smart enough to do it as I don't think any of our guards keeps Josh Hubbard in front of them and Omier out of foul trouble .

You heard him -- they use "player availability" as one of the factors. So, if you're a coach and you have an injured player you better make sure you announce they'll be fine for the tournament.

TJ was smart. Didn't give the committee the info so they could use it against him. We never have to worry about Drew either because we all know our injured players are always "game time decisions."

If we even make it to that game we'd virtually have to have Roach, Nunn, and Wright all be on at the same time (when does that ever happen?) with Omier and Egecombe being Omier and Edgecombe with Omier also avoiding foul trouble - to even have a chance to spring the upset. And that's regardless of how healthy Flagg is. Hope to be eating crow, but I'm seeing first weekend exit for the 4th year in a row and it might happen in round one.

This year the 2's are probably stronger than they are most years, but it truly is almost better to be a 10 seed than an 8 or 9. Seeds 7, 8, 9 and 10 are generally high major teams that are talented but inconsistent throughout the year or some overblown by media mid-major, so the reality is that you're usually no worse off playing a 7 as a 10 seed as you are playing an 8 as a 9 seed, with the added benefit your next game against a 2 is normally easier than against a 1. This year, the 7's are:

-Marquette (23-10)
-Kansas (they wouldn't have paired us against KU)
-Saint Mary's (blown out of proportion by the media again, just like they did that Saint Mary's team we blew off the court years ago; Omar Samham, where are you now?
-UCLA (22-10)
