A little dated, but thought you guys would be interested. Stumbled across this to see if I could track anything down on the new player we are allegedly adding.

Different players, VJ is vastly more talented. I truly believe VJ has all-NBA level upside and the potential to be a household name. At the college level Tounde can physically dominate but he won't be able to get by on strength/athleticism at the next level. I love how hard he plays but has too many holes in his offensive game. I liken Tounde to a more athletic Marcus Smart which is still a solid NBA rotation player but not a (potential) generational talent like VJ.

Tounde is way more raw than VJ for sure. He is the kind of player that 10 years ago would stay for an extra year and benefitted from the maturity, but highly doubt that happens. He needs to refine a number of different skills. His athletic superiority will decline with each jump. You can see why he was able to dominate in high school. He is built like a 25 year. Most projections have him in the 20-25 draft range. If I was building my team I would take Carr over Tounde.

Absolutely agree on Carr. His game is a perfect fit in the modern NBA.
